Highgate Private School was registered as a Section 21 company with the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade, and SME Development in 2014. In the same year, it received approval from the Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture to offer the Namibian basic education curriculum. While its official operations commenced in 2018, the school initially provided after-school tutorials to students from Windhoek Gymnasium, St. Paul’s College, and Namibia Open Learning College (NAMCOL) in 2017.

Over the years, the school has witnessed remarkable growth and has evolved into a nationally recognized brand it is today.
